Citzenship
Monday 8th January;
I was placed with Adam ,Kieran and Vanessa and we were assigned scene seven,the scene in which the two characters;Amy and Tom decide to have sexual intercourse resulting in Amy becoming pregnant.Kieran was given the role of Declerk,Tom's teacher.Adam was given the role of Tom, a boy finding out his sexuality and me and Vanessa where given the role of Amy; a troubled teenage girl. We focused on the objectives of our characters, Mine and Vanessa's objective as the role of Amy is to look after the plastic baby that she has been assigned and write down her thoughts and feelings in her 'baby diary'.
Monday 15 January;
I wasn't in this day as I wasn't feeling very well.
Tuesday 16th January;
We went over our scenes with the help of Rob,we used props such as my work book and worked out how we would move around the stage.Rob helped me to focus on how to say the words such as emphasing on the you in the line 'are you gay?'.
I wasn't feeling very well that day so I went home after rob's class therefore I don't know what happened in Mandy's lesson.
Thursday 17th January-Monday 22nd
I was unwell and therefore wasn't in during this time period
Tuesday 23rd January-1st February
I was suspended and therefore wasn't in during this time period.
Thursday 1st February:
we worked on our vocal warm ups and articulation using a series of sentences and letters such as mm,pp and bah.We then worked on how to say long sentences in one breath using our diaphragm,we dragged the last letter until we ran out of breath and surprisingly my singing training had payed off as I was able to hold a note for a good amount of time.We then looked at a section from Shakespeare's famous 'Hamlet' in groups and showed our interpretations of the text to the rest of the class.
Friday 2nd-??
we had no classes and only attended Maths and English.

We performed our piece to a very small audience,I was very nervous as I didn't know my lines due to the amount of time I hadn't been able to come in for due to suspension and sickness however with reassurance from Adam I was able to remember all my lines and deliver a good performance.
