Broken Expressions

I originally wanted to choreograph a dance to Sia's "Breathe Me" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFGvmrJ5rjM), Erich Lee Gravity's remix of "Unsteady"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGdaSDwKPG8My intention was to portray all the emotions inside me and sing my favourite song from the musical Dear Evan Hansen called "Requiem" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN9x0v2-deU.I worked with Faith from Level 3 Dance to choreograph my lyrical/contemporary dance piece. We decided to use a Cover of Drown by Faith-Marie(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU5ifmugneM ) which was originally by my favourite English rock band Bring Me The Horizon.
Due to a lack of availability we choreographed the dance in 30 minutes the previous day which was stressful but luckily when the performance was due the dance studios were available and so I practiced over and over again for 4 hours. I decided against the song as my voice wasn't at its best that day however I would like to show my singing skills later on.

Below is the video of my performance which overall I think was successful and one of my best performances as dance has always been one of my strengths from a young age. I truly loved this unit.

I got my headshot taken, the photographer was very pleased with me as I knew all the correct angles and therefore I didn't need much prompting about what to do. I turned my body slightly and looked into the camera but I didn't smile much as I don't really like my smile so instead I did a half smile.
